Arlington was one of the first plants ever to take and pass AISC certification; and we proudly maintain our certification today. We also received the 2019 Safety Award of Honor in the Fabricator Category.
We can handle structural members up to 30,000 lbs. (15 Tons) and 100' in length and rectangular HSS Tubing up to 24 in. Our shearing plate handles up to ¾" thickness. Yes, we can handle the big jobs!
We do beam cambering up to 36" wide beams. Cambering enables us to preload steel members for future loads on the steel once erected.
Our beam line punches and cuts beams up to 36" wide x 18" high. We also cut and cope angles up to 6 x 6 x 0.5 inches.
Our welders are continuously trained and certified to AWS D1.1. We can do the welds you need.

Previous to assuming his role at Arlington, Bill was the President of Hi-Grade Welding & Manufacturing and has over 30 years in the Metal Fabrication Industry.

Arlington’s story begins with Dahl-Olson Incorporated in 1945, in the city of Chicago. Harold Dahl and Herbert Olson came together during World War II producing parts for the Army’s Bailey Bridge Program.
